Translation and Localization Questions

Q. Why can't we just use translation software for our marketing text or website?
A. Language translation software tends to be grossly inadequate, especially for Japanese - English / English - Japanese translations. It is important to rely on expert translators in order to accurately capture the tone of your message, not to mention avoiding any cultural mistakes.

Q. Does BBI only work with large translation projects?
A. No, we'll gladly provide you with a competitive quote on any size translation project, whether it's a single web page or an entire instruction manual.

Media Coordination Questions

Q. What types of Video/Film projects does BBI work with?
A. BBI maintains a full digital audio/video production facility capable of editing and mastering video projects for VHS, Video CD and DVD release. We also have extensive experience with film/documentary project management with an emphasis on coordinating Japanese projects in the U.S. or vice-versa. While the BBI production Office will be focused almost entirely on its own releases for the 2007 season, our Project Coordination Division is now accepting clients for 2008. Q. Does BBI provide brokerage or other professional services between the US and Japan?
A. Yes. BBI maintains regular contact with goverment offices, city planning divisions and business development offices throughout Japan. This includes regular visits to large Japanese cities.
